Our Wine Selection.
We are proud to offer our visitors a selection of wines by the glass from Von Stiehl Winery and wines by the bottle from Von Stiehl Winery and Parallel 44 (sold in the Soaps and Sundries building). Both are located just a short drive from us in Kewaunee (Parallel 44) and Algoma (Von Stiehl).
New for 2009 - we are pleased to announce the opening of our tasting room, scheduled for June 10th. This has been one of our many projects through the Winter and we are pleased to be home to Door County's first ever dedicated tasting room! - We are featuring a small yet carefully selected range of wines from Von Stiehl, and are combining these wines with locally made chocolates and cheeses. For fans of micro brew beers, we will also be showcasing Central Waters craft beers in our tasting room.
Wine - chocolates - cheese - beer .....what could be better?!

We offer both wine and beer tasting's!
Outpost Beers
We are proud to offer a carefully selected range of micro brews and imports to wet the whistles of our beer connoisseurs.
We change our beer selections quite regularly, seasonal inspirations might include pumpkin ales during the Fall and a variety of cherry ales through the Summer. We always have selections from Door County's only micro brewery, "Shipwrecked". Their 'Copper Ale' is a firm favorite, as are Bayside Blondes and the darker Porter Ale.
Imported beers vary, but we have the ever popular Guinness and Smithwicks Ales, along with Moosehead, an import from our friends north of the big border. Not all beers enjoy the trip across the pond, but Newcastle Ale seems to hold up pretty well, the Geordies are generally a pretty tough bunch.
For those looking for something more mainstream, we have a Sam Adams, a Corona and the full range of New Glarus beers. Our best selling beer through August this year was the Sprecher Amber. The owners favorite beer this year was the Canadian IPA. Smooth and creamy on the palate with a nice bite going down and a slight citrus aftertaste.
Our featured breweries include
- Door County's own Shipwrecked brewery
- Hinterland
- Capital (with wheat from Washington Island).
- New Glarus
- Central Waters Brewing Co.
- Many More...!
