The Door County Outpost Gallery and Cafe...

...is located adjacent HWY 42 approximately 0.5 miles south of Egg Harbor in Door County Wisconsin.
There are two buildings at the location, the 'Door County Outpost Gallery and Café' and 'Door County Soaps and Sundries'. The larger building, Door County Outpost Gallery and Café, is also home to the Forte Gallery, The Natural Shopper, Door County Kayak Tours and Lac verde Naturals. The smaller of the two buildings, Door County Soaps and Sundries, is also home to Parallel 44 and Von Stiehl Wines.
The Door County Outpost Gallery and Café is a beautiful log cabin structure, providing the perfect backdrop and setting for a charming Café area and a range of eclectic fine art and gifts. Wisconsin artists from around the State are proud to present their work at the Forte Gallery, located inside the main building- paintings, sculpture, fine hand-blown glassware, jewelry and pottery help to create a very unique and special environment for our visitors.
On music nights we turn down the lights and play host to a variety of national touring artists who travel to our venue from all over the USA.

Inside you can enjoy a fine espresso or cappuccino, a smoothie or latte, or perhaps you might enjoy a premium beer from one of over 20 different micro-breweries, including Central Waters Brewing Co, Hinterland and Capital Brewery. Samples of Von Stiehl Wines are featured in our new upper-level Tasting room and are served by the glass in our café area and on concert nights.
Enjoy fine food from our seasonal menu, panini's, sandwiches, soups, salads, bakery and a great breakfast sandwich served all day!
Visit us on weekends and other event days and we'll invariably have the outdoor grill fired up, cooking Johnsonville brats, pulled-pork, beef brisket, bavarian burgers, Knackwurst and other grilled foods sure to delight the most particular of grilled food aficionado's. Relax outside in the sun or enjoy the ambiance indoors where you can utilize our free WIFI service to check-in with the world. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not try a Kayak tour? - this is a great way to get out on the local waters in a safe and supervised manner. Tours run from 8am to sunset, many taking you out to the 'Caves', Door County's favorite tourist location.
In the Door County Soaps and Sundries building you can meet with Sandy and enjoy a selection of fine hand-made soaps and other skin care items, along with a range of gifts and locally made products. The Tuscany style seating and decor is the perfect backdrop for the wine displays, with featured wines from Kewaunee's Parallel 44 Wines and Algoma's Von Stiehl Winery.
