Kayak Tours
Originating from the Door County Outpost Gallery and Café.
Door County Kayak Tours have risen to become the area's best known and most respected kayak tour operator, with an impeccable safety record and the canny knack for utilizing the area's most sought after location.....'The Caves' !
Tours run several times daily from the Outpost, starting early morning at around 7.45 am, and the last kayak tours leaving the Outpost for a sunset paddle around 6.30pm. Boats are available both inside and on top, with tandems more suited to the younger kayakers. Though originating from the Door County Outpost Gallery and Cafe, the kayak tours are operated autonomously from the Outpost. |

New for 2009 we are also offering a special menu for kayakers, simply make your food selection on the kayak bus traveling back from your kayaking location and we'll have your food prepared for you when you arrive back. Also, book a sunset kayak tour this season and we can entertain you on your return to the Outpost with a great cookout and some drying-out time around the bonfire! If your group is for 10 or more, ask us about providing our 'Cowboy Theme' unique dining experience! - we can cook up a cowboy style dinner, served around the campfire, and provide live music or even a drumming circle! - a great way to end a day on the waters courtesy of Door County Kayak Tours.
We se around 50 people each day through the season, departing then returning to the Outpost following their kayaking adventure on the waters of Door County. Clearly from the smiles on people's faces, Kayaking is a lot of fun, and very safe too. Tours are available for (supervised) youngsters from the age of around 4 and upwards, often kayak tours are held on the inland waters when very young children are involved.
